Since I’ve come home, I’ve been so busy at work I’ve barely had time to think. But when I do, I think about all the wonderful people I got to meet over the last 6 months, and I miss them all and the fun times we had together.
And I hope I get to see them again, soon.

The Black Keys - Tighten Up
Pretending to study for exams. Snoozing on a couch instead. Swiping friends into the dining hall with the excessive number of meal points I have left over (56 meals - there is literally no way I can finish them myself in the next week). Thinking about how much I’m going to miss being here. And at the same time, how I wish I was home right now. Wondering if I’m going to cry when I say goodbye. Worrying about all the packing I have to do on Saturday.

Trying (and failing) to get down to Baker’s Beach the other night (it closes at sunset), and then walking around The Presidio trying to find a good shot and losing feeling in our toes while doing it.
Driving up from Los Angeles to San Francisco along Highway 1.
Spotted numerous seals, a “land yacht” car and an actual land yacht.
The Getty Museum, Los Angeles.
Getting there 45 minutes before they closed for the day (thanks LA traffic) and deciding not to go into the actual museums but instead roam around the place itself. It’s amazing architecture there and the sun was shining through the gaps in the clouds, with stormy weather in the distance.

Crazy idea for a day trip. Getting up at 5am, everyone running on about 3 hours sleep. Taking in the amazing beauty of the place. Desperately trying to find an In-N-Out Burger on the way home. Finally making it back to Berkeley at 2am.

Students are protesting against a proposed 81% fee hike next year, that is due to budget cuts made by the state of California.
The Colbert Report did a segment about it.
